He is diving in the water, feet first, hands soar sunburn from the rays, as he wades through the low tides cooling off his arms, swimming with the fishes tasting the salt, breathing in some water, his burnt skin sizzling from the heat, soaking shins, simmering in the sea— from this canvas landscape, did you not discover the way his feet waves? Far from drowning, exploring depths, Icarus splashes away watching his sky breaths bubbling upward.
