Yana Orlando is an emerging writer and poet born and raised in Mt.Clemens, Michigan, but is currently based in the greater Los Angeles area. Her work speaks of love, growth, and her slightly unhinged life experiences. She was a semifinalist in Poetry Nations national poetry contest for 2024 and in the San Diego slam. She combines her love for both poetry and film by creating adaptations of her work. This includes her most recent project ‘Taste of You.’ She has featured at events such as Sippin Poetry, Ready Set Saturdays, Expression Mondays, and July Jamboree. She is living and loving through life and writing all down as she goes.
